Get Involved with Christian Care
At Christian Care, we rely on the generosity, kindness and enthusiasm of our volunteers to help us serve the hundreds of men, women and children who turn to Christian Care for assistance each year. Please consider giving some of your time and talent to those in need. Your efforts will truly make a difference in someone’s life!
- Join Christian Care’s Board of Directors to plan the strategic direction of the organization, generate funding, provide expertise as needed, and generally facilitate the work of Christian Care.

- Answer phones or provide office assistance.
- Serve as a mentor to a child or an adult man or woman.
- Provide childcare for the children at the Shelter.
- Provide transportation to doctors' visits, employment interviews,
or church services. - Provide instruction on budgeting, nutrition, life skills or relaxation.
- Prepare and serve a meal at either facility.
- Help plan and market our special events.
- Work on projects such as spring cleaning, painting, or minor repair.
- Help with pick-ups during the food drives.
